All messages marked unread
I had to manually transfer the ect & mail directory to another cpanel account on another server. This was because of a servers companies policy of not being able to downgrade size (it was a 30gb pkg file) and the fact that you temporarily need around triple the space for transfer, unpack and setup.
All the emails and accounts transferred ok and are working proper with the exception that all emails past are now marked unread.
Is there a way to restore the proper status of each message?

That is ok I guess but that just marks ALL read. I was hoping to get the read/unread correspondence from the old location 0 -
There's no features in cPanel/WHM that will do that for you, so you will have to create or modify a custom script that manipulates the individual email files. Thank you. 0
