Login to Webmail fails after choosing Horde, RoundCube or SquirrelMail
I am seeing odd behavior with regard to all email addresses for one domain on a VPS - other domains on the server seem not to be affected.
I can log in to the external Webmail interface without an issue, but when I then click on Horde, RoundCube or SquirrelMail, issues start.
Horde lets me in, but there's an error message, "User john@mydomain.com.br is not authorized for Mail (Host: [12.34.56.78])". SquirrelMail takes me to an error page "Please log in first". RoundCube takes me to a login page. Neither of those will then let me log in.
Not seeing anything of significance in /var/log/messages or /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log or access_log.
This is running 11.52.0 (build 22)

A similar error got solved by running a forced cpanel update. 0 -
I ran /scripts/upcp --force But the issue persists, unfortunately. Any other thoughts? 0 -
To clarify, are you logging into a single email account, using the full email address as the username? 0 -
Yes, this was logging into a single email account, with the full email address. However, we appear to have found the solution. The hostname on the server had been set to the domain name in question, rather than something like mail.userdomain.com, and this appears to have been causing a clash. We updated it, and could then log in without issue. Figured it was worth sharing! 0 -
Good to hear you got it sorted. 0
