cpbackup error

We have been running cPanel for 7 years now and have never saw this error before Undefined subroutine &Cpanel::Backup::Sync::notifyAdmin called at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Backup/Sync.pm line 228. I searched the forums but did not see anything related to this. We have not made any changes to the system. Currently running [LIST]

CENTOS 5.11 x86_64 standard " webhosting

WHM 11.48.4 Anyone have any input on this. Thanks

  Hello :) I notice you are using cPanel version 11.48. This version is still supported, however it's set to reach "End of Life" at the end of January 2016. Is updating to a newer version of cPanel to see if the issue persists an option for you? If not, is there anything in particular we can do to help you with the update? Thank you.

  We are in the process of setting up a migration to a new server which will have the latest version. This migration should happen within the next month.

  Do you notice any error messages when manually packaging an account via the "/scripts/pkgacct" command? Thank you.

  First, this is a bug in the backup utility in cPanel & WHM version 11.48. It only happens when stats processing takes longer than 8 hours. Since both stats processing and backups put heavy load on a server we normally prevent both from occurring at the same time. It appears this bug is fixed in version 11.50. Second, does the backup continue, or complete with the presence of that error?
