Old folders still appearing in Outlook

After moving from one server to another, I am stuck with 4 folders in Outlook that are deleted from the server. They doesn't exist in the maildir folder, but are still present in Outlook. When trying to delete the folders in Outlook, I get an error stating that the folder does not longer exist. I originally suspected that it was an Outlook error, but when setting up the mail account in Outlook on another computer, the old deleted folders show up again - so they have to be present on the server somewhere.. Where would I find and delete them, when they are not present in the maildir folder?

  Hello :) Does it help if you unsubscribe to the folders in a webmail client such as Roundcube?   Thanks for your comment! The mail folders that I need to remove are not present in RoundCube. Do you need the exact names of all folders in question? Thanks!

  Yes, please provide us with the names of the four email folders so we can determine if their existence is by design. Thank you.
