Not able to access svn repository

I am trying to connect to svn repository using tortoise svn on windows and repository resides on server . But i m getting below errors. Error: Unable to connect to a repository at URL Error: The XML response contains invalid XML Error: Malformed XML: no element found Can anybody help me to resolve this issue?
