phpmyadmin asking username and password

The problem still exists at least 10 years. I did change password few times, but phpmyadmin still ask for MySQL password. Is it possible to finally fix it?

  Hello :) I moved this post to it's own thread. Could you let us know which version of cPanel is installed on your system? Do you notice any error messages in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log when this happens? Thank you.

  WHM 11.52.2 (build 2) No any error in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log

  Do you notice any .my.cnf files in the account's home directory? Could you verify which method you are using to change the account's password? Thank you.
