Spamd keeps failing

Hi I am reviving an old thread because I am encountering exactly the same problem. Spamd fails and then recovers after 10-15 minutes once in every 2-3 days. I get a notification of Smapd Failed and then after 10-15 minutes a notification of Spamd recovered. My Server is as follows : [LIST]

CENTOS 6.7 x86_64 standard " exl

WHM 11.52.1 (build 3) I am copying the content of the failure notification mail at the bottom. Does anybody have any idea as to what causes this and what is the solution to fix this problem. Amit Kalra The service "spamd" appears to be down.

  Hello :), Are you getting any specific error logs in /var/log/exim_mainlog or /var/log/exim_paniclog at the times of the failures?
