Contact Email on Transfer is cleared.
Hi,
I have discovered that when doing a cpanel->cpanel transfer between our servers (part of a migration) The Contact Email is cleared or emptied with most of the account transfers. It appears to do this at the final stages of the transfer as I can see it in the WHM account listing initially. Furthermore if I go into the user's cpanel and to Contact Information I can see the email address in the form and upon a save it restores it (as one would think).
Both servers are 11.52
Can anyone explain why this happening, provide a fix or a bulk reset command?

Hi, Yes that sounds to be the same issue The source server missing the .cpanel/contactinfo file on the accounts that are blank. 0 -
For anyone else who has not reviewed the other thread, the workaround on any machines that are not yet updated to 11.52 is to verify /home/$user/.cpanel/contactinfo is configured with the correct email address, and to update the contact address on the account if it's not before the transfer.
