How do I prevent host lookup failed messages
I have accounts that are not getting their emails. I see messages like host lookup failed (116.199.219.46 does not match any IP address for mail.theiremailhost.co.nz)
I've put the IP in Sender verification bypass IP addresses but that does not help. i also put the emails in *@theirmailhost.co.nz and *@mail.theirmainhost.co.nz into the whitelist in theirSpamAssassin settings.

I do have that in my exim.conf but I also see it has message = Your mail server IP address ($sender_host_address) has no reverse DNS PTR That is not the message I see in the email Trace stats I see "host lookup failed ... does not match any IP address for ..." 0 -

Have you contacted your provider to request they configure RDNS for the IP address used to send email? Thank you.0
