Web Template Editor / Skeleton Directory not working (duplicating files)

Skeleton Directory - 11.52 Documentation - cPanel Documentation I'm trying to copy a single index.html file and for some reason, it's not being duplicated into newly created subdomains.

• May you please give me some advice or tips to troubleshoot this?
• Do I need to setup folder permissions or tweak anything in WHM?
• What is the difference of Skeleton Directory and Web Template Editor?

I'm using WHMCS / WHM / cPanel on a VPS Setup with full root access.

  Just found my answer....so sad....is this really true? Only new accounts and not existing accounts? Update from Skeleton Directory The "Skeleton Directory" option is designed for populate content during account creation. It will not add that content to existing accounts, and we have no automated scripts to complete this at this time.

  Hello :) Yes, the skeleton directory feature is intended for new accounts only. That being said, you could consult with a developer to help create a custom post subdomain creation script that could create or copy files after it's created:

  The following quota is included in the document: The skeleton directory allows you to easily copy the same files in to every new account"s public_html and public_ftp directories when the system creates the account.
  This appears to make it clear that it's intended for new accounts when the system creates the account. Thank you.
