Recently moved between servers and made a new subdomain. Everything is working fine expect when I try to use SSL. When I go to , however if I use

  Ok found the answer in this post Wildcard SSL installation - ssl subdomain shows main domain Now my question is this a bug or did I miss configure something to start with? Will I need to do this every time I want to use a wildcard with a subdomain?

  Hello :) The issue you described is standard behavior if you are installing a SSL certificate on a shared IP address. A workaround is explained on the following document: SSL FAQ and Troubleshooting - Documentation - cPanel Documentation. Thank you.
