problem with Ipv6 records from Directadmin after transfer tool
Hi,
I have successfully transfered an account from Directadmin to a web server with Cpanel. All DNS records have been successfully changed to the new web server IP address for IPv4. Nevertheless, I have discovered that the IPV6 records that existed in Directadmin are copied to Cpanel. So, i found myself with all domains with old IPv6 AAAA records in the DNS zones pointing to the former directadmin web server.
It would be nice if Cpanel would come with a solution for that. Perhaps it would be handy to ask to delete the IPv6 records as it can be recreated by the Cpanel Ipv6 activation feature.
thank you.

Hello :) Internal case CPANEL-2727 ensures IPv6 addresses are not restored during the transfer process. This case is implemented with cPanel version 56. You can find more information about the release process for new cPanel versions at: cPanel & WHM Versions and the Release Process - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation Thank you. 0
