Spam folder autosubscribe
It seems an ongoing problem with fighting spam. One thing that would make life about a thousand times easier is if there was a way for email accounts to automatically subscribe to the spam folder if/when spamassassin creates it. Is there a way anyone is aware of to do this? Is there a config setting somewhere or is this going to require some sort of cron or something?
How have other people dealt with this?

Hello :) There's no native feature that will automatically subscribe users to a specific IMAP folder, however please feel free to vote and add your feedback to the existing feature request for this at: Allow root to select .Junk as the spam collection folder for Spam Box delivery or auto-subscribe the .spam folder when it was created Thank you. 0 -
I am thinking of using a cron to initiate a check/subscribe function but I am curious how I would do this, is it a subscription from the email client or is it set somewhere where clients like outlook and thunderbird will just know.. How do they know of my subfolders? I don't have to "subscribe" to them. I mean what exactly does "subscribe" do? 0 -
