Mail Sent Times Out. Invalid Senders IP?

I have spent the past three days trying to figure out why my WHM / cPanel will not send or receive email. Looking in the queue manager i see outbound messages that are timing out. It appears that the sending IP is corrupted: -host_address ::1.40823. I would think my servers main IP should be there. Sent myself mail from both Gmail and Live but nothing comes in nor does it bounce back. I have checked he host domain for a possible spam block and it's not flagged anywhere. Thanks, Ed

  Hello :) Could you let us know the output to /var/log/exim_mainlog when attempting to send or receive an email? Thank you.

  Forgot to add.. I am receiving mail fine. Just can not send server keeps timing out. Looks like a port is blocked or something along that line. This vps is from vultr.com

  I suggest contacting your VPS hosting provider and asking if port 25 is blocked on the network. Your provider may need to remove the restriction, as it's common for some providers to automatically block this port. Thank you.
