WHM Backup logic

Hi, if i go into /backup/[type]/[date]/accounts i see the compress files of every accounts with the correct [date], but if i look into the /home/[account]/ folder i find a backup***.tar.gz file with a different date. Into WHM>Restore Backup, i see only the dates of /backup/[type]/[date]/accounts backups. Can u explain me why? It's something wrong in my backup configuration so that it generate 2 different backups ? Sorry for my english, thanks a lot and have a nice day!

  Backups are created there manually, by the cPanel user.

  Hi and thanks for the reply. I'm the only administrator of the WHM and every cPanels, so users cant generate backups and I never made backup from cPanel same but only with automatic weekly backup of the system. I do not understand why i have two separate backups in both the /backup and /home/[user] backup with different date.

  No clue. Does the date on the backup in the user account remind you of anything? I mean, if its a date for last Tuesday for example, and you were in your cPanel last Tuesday and looked at the Backup tools. Maybe you generated one.
