I have fixed it at my own by increasing the value of "mark_as_brute".

I have fixed it at my own by increasing the value of "mark_as_brute".

Could you explain a bit more? I'm getting the same error and it's not allowing me to log into my Web interface at all. Did you do this through SSH? I don't even use CPHulk, so the settings haven't been touched in over a year and a half.

You can ensure the "mark_as_brute" value is higher than the "max_failures_byip" value in the /var/cpanel/hulkd/conf file. You can edit this file directly from the command line. Note that internal case CPANEL-3881 was opened to ensure this issue is automatically corrected via a maintenance task. You can monitor our change log for the inclusion of this case number: 54 Change Log - Documentation - cPanel Documentation Thank you.

Internal case CPANEL-3881 was included in cPanel version 54.0.8 to add an automatic maintenance task that corrects this issue: Fixed case CPANEL-3881: cPHulk: Repair bad configuration values which block WHM logins. Thank you.
