Transfer Tool - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Hi forum users, I have a problem after WHM installation on my new dedicated server to transfer data from old server. Starting the transfer tool get me a failure message:
Session Error Unable to create a session object. Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
I kindly ask for your help to proceed further. Thanks, Alex

  Hello :) Please try resetting the root password for MySQL on the source server via the following option: "WHM Home " SQL Services " MySQL Root Password" Verify a command such as "mysql" runs without error on the source server. Thank you.

  Hi Michael, thanks for this information. Transfer tool is now working, but now I have the problem of different cPanel versions to be updated before data transfer. old vps server WHM 54.0 (build 8) new server WHM 11.52.2 (build 5) I will try to upgrade the cPanel software on new server and hope to solve this problem also.   Hello :) I am happy to see the initial issue is addressed. Please open a new thread for the new issue if you are unable to resolve by updating cPanel. Thank you.
