Using Active Directory Unable to - su

This is my first cPanel on an AD enabled Linux box (centos 6.7) We've got it set up to authenticate user accounts against a domain controller with a specific group membership. From there, we usually su - for any real work. After cPanel install, the su gets permissions changed so that you have to be part of wheel. on the cPanel WHM, there is an option to add users, but it can't see anything about the Active Directory environment. I'm not really sure what I need to do now to enable su - for my AD enabled admin users. I could just change the file permissions, but that seems like it's breaking some sort of security that cPanel is trying to help me with. Ideas?

Alright, in that case does anyone know of any issues with putting the permissions back to their original state on the su bin? (I'm going to give it a go; this is a test setup for the moment). Thanks

Here are the default permission/ownership values for /bin/su on a test system:

  File: "/bin/su"
