Safe to Upgrade to MariaDB 10.1 now?

Hello. I still use MariaDB 10.0. I see MariaDB 10.1 as option in WHM. Is it safe to upgrade to it now? I ask it because the 10.0 has "recommended" label. While the 10.1 "only" has "general availability" label. Thank you.

  Hello :) MariaDB 10.1 is supported by cPanel, so it's safe to upgrade. However, I suggest reviewing the following document: Upgrading from MariaDB 10.0 to 10.1 You can ignore the "How to Upgrade" section, as that part is handled through cPanel/WHM. Thank you.
