Sending e-mails (SMTP) incredibly slow

Dear developers, Sending e-mails through SMTP is incredibly slow. I remember something I have enabled an option to scan every outgoing e-mail on the server. Other e-mails send to the main mail address of my server (root@domain.com) are being send and delivered instantly. Does someone have a suggestion? Thanks!

  Hello :), Are you getting error in mail logs ? Please check it and post here so that we can assist you on this

  Takes exactly 30 seconds to send an email to a domain that is not hosted by the same ISP you are sending from - sending to domains that are hosted by your ISP are instant. This happened after the latest build to fix the 501 errors. Time it - you'll see it takes exactly 30 seconds
