How do I determine which ones to delete.

You might want to check your existing site's configuration file to make sure you know the name of the database still in use. Once you know that, the others can be killed with the Delete button. Making this sort of change, to be safe, it wouldn't hurt to run a Full Website Backup, first. You can never have too many backups. ;)

I done backups, in my config file it shows _oc3 been used, then tried myPhP to rename the other Db's but it wants to recreate with a new name. All I want is to disable them by adding _xxX.OLD Is there another way through the file manager?

You can manually back them up one by one before deleting them if you like. You can can create a new database named anything you want and copy the old to the new via phpMyAdmin too.
