WHM Features to Locate Outgoing SPAM?

Greetings, I've used WHM/cpanel for many years - but am NOT a SysAdmin in any way, shape or form. I have had a few instances where an account under my WHM was hacked and scripts, etc were uploaded to send out SPAM. I usually have to contact the actual hosting service so they can find the offending account. For example, I just received this from them: "I found the user michael spamming on your server (over 50K+ emails sent). The account is compromised and I suspended to stop the spam." So my question is - as far as I know, there is no way to use features in WHM to find stuff like this? A summary of emails send per account, etc. Are there any features to help out monitor this stuff?
