Transfer Tool Question

Hey there guys, I have searched a little on the forums and couldn't see the answer so thought id ask here. When I transfer from old to new server an account in WHM does the old server website still remain live. Have quite a big move to do and really need the website to remain live. Doing it via ftp seems very long and have a deadline of sunday to move a huge chunk with data and all Thanks

  Hello :), If you migrate your account through transfer tool, It will be online from your old server. You need to update your new namserver to resolve your account to new server. What is your account size? You can ask your hosting provider to generate the full account backup of your account and restore it with the /scripts/restorepkg command. But you need root access of your server to use this command.

  Hello :) Yes, the account remains active on the source server. You have to terminate the account on the source server when it's no longer required. Thank you.
