Random out-of-memory Error While Restoring Backup

I made a backup of one of my site's home directories and mysql database today. I then went in to upgrade some software and the install failed. (Fortunately it didn't touch the database before it failed, but it did change a lot of files). So I went to do a restore of the home directory - and that worked perfectly. Then I went to restore the database, just in case anything happened to it during the upgrade attempt - and it wouldn't restore, and kept giving an out of memory message. The weird thing is - the home directory restore file was 143 Mbs. And the database .sql file was only 2.7 megabytes. Fortunately, nothing appears to have been harmed this time around. But I'm going to have to attempt this again soon and I'd like to get this figured out and fixed in case the database does need to be restored next time. Thanks!

  Thanks Michael. It was actually taking so long for my message to get approved and posted here, that I contacted cPanel support over the weekend. I'll describe their response here - in case anyone else has a similar problem in the future. They said the source of the memory limit was found under "WHM -> Tweak Settings -> Max cPanel process memory". Once they changed that from "512 MB" to "Unlimited", they were able to restore the database without errors. They said they believed the reason why was the memory needed to process all the database queries. So, it had nothing to do with the file size.
