Alternative to Demo Mode - Static page?

I want to add a 'demo' link for potential clients to see at least the default cPanel home page, but doing so in Demo Mode seems unsafe. Can I just grab a certain fileset and make a static page out of it? Where should I be looking?

  Setup a vps with demo mode. You can secure it and make a template . After that reload that vm regularly. :) Otherwise make some screen shorts or videos of your demo panel.
