Hi,
"/" has got 7.9G size, which 6.7GB is used up ie 876MB left. I've run upcp to update cPanel to its latest version. But it says it required 1 GB free space on the server(which I dont have).

can I create a symlink, so I can move any of the directories in /usr/local/cpanel/3rparty/ to some other partition on the server.?
I've got another partition which has got a lot of free space. pls advice

Found similar post but there its mentioned /usr/local/cpanel/3rparty/mailman But in this case mailman directory is only 38 mb. 0 -
I think you need 1 GB free space itself 0 -
Hello :) I don't advise symbolically linking any of the directories under /usr/local/cpanel in order to free up space. Instead, it's a good idea to ensure your partition setup resembles the example in our installation guide: Installation Guide - System Requirements - Documentation - cPanel Documentation Are you able to transfer the accounts to a server with the recommended partition setup? Your data center may be able to help you with this. Otherwise, what else in your /usr partition is taking up the most space besides the "/usr/local/cpanel" directory? Thank you. 0
