Hello :) Could you elaborate on the purpose of requiring SMTP authentication for the root user? Is it causing any issues with email delivery? Thank you. 0 -
yes, i use mandrill to guarantee the delivery of email from my websites on my server and its kinda annoying to have system go via the local host route. mainly because gmail blocks emails from my server 0 -
You could update your notifications to utilize a service such as PushBullet instead of email: Pushbullet notifications In cPanel & WHM version 11.52, we added Pushbullet as a contact method for system notifications. To enter your Pushbullet account, use WHM's Basic cPanel & WHM Setup interface (Home >> Server Configuration >> Basic cPanel & WHM Setup). New installations will prompt the system administrator for their Pushbullet contact settings as part of the Initial Setup Wizard. For more information about Pushbullet, visit Pushbullet's website.
Thank you.0
