How to Make Sure SELinux Isn't Enabled?
I got the Altered RPMs email this morning, and found this thread, then followed the instructions in this post to disable PRELINKING.
All that seems to have gone well, but I read later in the thread that it's also recommended that SELinux not be used.
I read the man entry for SELinux, and then ran the following command to peak at the configuration file:
nano /etc/selinux/config
The file was empty, so I'm assuming that SELinux isn't running on my server. Is that correct? Thanks.

Hello :) You can use the "sestatus" command to verify if SELinux is disabled. Information about SELinux is found on the following document: Installation Guide - System Requirements - Documentation - cPanel Documentation Scroll down until you see "Disable SELinux" to review additional details about how to disable it, or how to check if it's running. Thank you. 0 -
Thanks, Michael. It is indeed disabled on my server. 0
