Roundcube won't update, even with --force
My roundcube data got corrupted and I'm trying to restore it. The application starts, but I get an error that reads:
DATABASE ERROR: CONNECTION FAILED!
Unable to connect to the database!
I've tried moving and reloading the Roundcube app using
/usr/local/cpanel/bin/update-roundcube --force
but I get an error,
Error occurred during upgrade
Cpanel::Exception::Database::Error/(XID 9ux7q5) DBD::mysql::db do failed: Table '`roundcube`.`session`' already exists at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Exception.pm line 183.
I've looked in the roundcube db, but there are no tables.
Any ideas?

Hello :) Do you have any backups of the database from before this issue started in the /var/cpanel/roundcube directory? If so, you can delete the roundcube database (since the tables are already removed), and then restore it from one of the backup SQL files. Otherwise, could you verify if there's specific data from Roundcube you want to preserve, or do you simply want it to work again? Thank you. 0
