Cannot access email account

Hi Had some problem on website so restored my backup in cpanel .Now I had 5-6 mail accounts that I cannot access even after restoring.In my cpanel left side it is showing 5/20 accounts and have my mail account shown in .sqmaildata in .home/user directory but cannot access any .Please anyone can tell me why its happening and how can I retrieve it pls reply thanks in advance

  Can you go into more detail when you say you cannot access them. Are you referring to webmail or mail client, are there any error messages you can provide? Could just be permissions but would need more info to determine

  Hello :) Could you elaborate further on specific the error message you encounter when attempting to access these email accounts? For instance, are the email accounts not listed under the "Email Accounts" option in cPanel? Thank you.
