Email forwarding to group
Hi all,
I've set up a rule that when an email is sent to our info email it is sent to me and some others. I followed a video tutorial on YouTube and it said it would CC my reply to everyone too. For example someone emails our info email address and I reply, my reply would be sent to everyone in the group too so they know it has been replied to... I tried this and it didn't work.
Just wondering if there is anyone on here that could help? I only know the basics of cPanel but my hosting company are quite good when it comes to help in setting things up if I get stuck. I have access to the cPanel etc.
Hopefully someone can help me, all help is much appreciated!
Thanks,
Ben

Ben, Did you setup a forward or a filter? Can you screenshot the rule to get a better idea of how its setup 0 -
Hey @Jcats, I believe it was a filter. Attached are some screenshots. My cPanel must have been updated over the last 72 hours as it looks slightly different to how it did when I first set this up but here it is (attached) Would be good to fix so that when someone replied to an email sent into our general email, we all get a copy to avoid duplication :) Hope this helps? I just did some testing and its not possible to CC several emails with a forward or a filter, all it will do is send a single email to each email you are forwarding to so there is no way to respond to all accounts that you are forwarding to. :( You would need to use a mailing list unless someone else has some other easier method. 0 -
You could setup multiple forwarders depending on how many users you need to send the email to. 0 -

The problem is, he wants to be able to hit 'reply to all' after its forwarded so it will respond to everyone that the email was forwarded to.0 -
Mailman is the answer then. 0
