Http 500 Error
Hi,
I am a website owner who is a bit clueless when it comes to all this. I set up a website last year - word press - a small orange hosted.
I exceeded my data storage limit in the new year and since then my website has been giving me a HTTP 500 Error Most likely causes:
[LIST]
The website is under maintenance.
The website has a programming error.
I upgraded my hosting package to allow more data storage space but this hasn't resolved the issue. I cannot get into the wp-admin page either. I do have access to the Cpanel (PHP) but I cannot figure out where I need to go next.
I tried restore a back up but this hasn't worked.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Majella

You might want to speak with your Hosting Provider about this. 0 -
Majella, 500 errors usually get logged to a 'error_log' file. If you go into File Manager, search for error_log in the search at the top right. Check those files for any errors that may be relevant. 0
