A record for mail subdomain
Hi, I am very sorry for opening this old thread but I am facing problem with what OP mentioned... in some way.
For some strange reason, google indexing my website to mail.mydomain.com, I dont know how to resolve this. If I set CNAME to A in DNS, will this change or the page (from google) will now become mail.mydomainIP ? :/
How to make mail.mydomain.com wont show my website and redirect to mydomain.com ? If I add redirection in htaccess, this mail.mydomain.com whatever reason is used for wont work?
Thank you :)

Hello :) You could delete the DNS entries for "mail", and then add it as a subdomain to the account via cPanel: Subdomains - Documentation - cPanel Documentation You can then choose which page loads, or to redirect the subdomain to the destination of your preference. Thank you. 0
