Can't change default webmail app when using the webmail subdomain

if I try to set a default webmail client when using webmail.mydomain.com the ajax request returns an http 401 Invalid Security Token error while it works on mydomain.com:2095

  Hello :) Is Mod_Security enabled on this system, with a specific vendor ruleset such as Comodo? If so, does the issue persist if you temporarily disable it? Thank you.

  yeah I use comodo WAF, I just tried to disable it by setting SecRuleEngine Off but I still get the error
