MSSQL with EasyApache 4
Hello,
Does anyone know how can I do to install the extension MSSQL using EasyApache 4?
Thanks!

Hello :) The MSSQL PHP extension is not currently available with EasyApache 4. Internal case EA-3761 is open to determine the course of action to take with this extension, but there's no time frame on a decision at this point in time. Thank you. 0 -

Could you elaborate on this question? Are you asking if there are similar instructions for MSSQL with EasyApache 4? Or are you asking about FreeTDS support in EasyApache 4? Thank you.0 -

I suggest waiting to upgrade to EasyApache 4 until support for the PHP MSSQL extension is offered or a decision is made on it's inclusion, as it's not currently supported. Thank you.0 -
I am stuck trying to get my setup to work with MSSQL. I have followed old threads to manually install support through freetds just to die at the "/scripts/easyapache" step because I am on easyapache4. I have tried the MDB2 GUI route to be thwarted by an "pear/MDB2_Driver_mssql requires PHP extension "mssql". Error. I don't know where to go. Help anyone? My setup is: CENTOS 7.2 x86_64, WHM 56.0 (build 16). 0 -
Hello, There's no update to report on internal case EA-3761 at this time, so the best course of action is to downgrade to EasyApache 3 until more information on the availability of a MSSQL RPM for use with EasyApache 4 is available. Thank you. 0 -
It's been nearly 4 months since the last reply. Any news on when MSSQL support will be added? I cannot migrate to EA4 till this happens. Thanks. 0 -
Please keep in mind that internal case EA-3761 is open to evaluate the addition of an MSSQL RPM for EasyApache 4. It's not yet decided whether support will be added. I encourage you to create a feature request for this via: Submit A Feature Request This way our developers can monitor the number of votes, review comments, and provide updates on the status of the case. Thank you. 0 -
MSSQL support exists in EA3 but not in EA4. Why did you decide not to include it in the first place? I noticed LDAP support for PHP is now an option in EA4. Yet in EA3, one had to manually add it with rawopts. Why add additional support for one thing and drop support for another? 0 -
Hello, Case EA-3761 does not suggest a specific reason for the lack of inclusion of this module. Were you able to open the feature request for it's inclusion in order to track the progress of such a feature? Thank you. 0 -
Hello, To update, the feature request is open at: EasyApache 4 PDO_DBLIB (mssql support) Feel free to vote and add your feedback to this request. Thank you. 0 -
