Parked domain: set dedicated IP and install SSL

Hello, I have a VPS cPanel for main-domain.com, parked-domain1.com, and parked-domain2.com. I want to install SSL to this parked-domain1.com. Since you cannot install SSL to a parked domain (is that correct?), I need to have this parked-domain1.com to have dedicated IP first. What's the best way to do so? Please help me with steps (like teaching a child :). Thanks!

  If I transfer this domain to my hosting account first? So it will be no longer a parked domain. And I can assign the dedicated IP easily?

  I have a question. When I un-park the domain, it will have downtime for the website?

  The domain name will not load from the time you delete it as an alias, until the time you create it as an addon domain name. Thank you.
