Copy only the ftp and email user/pass details
I am on centos 7 with cpanel, I want to move a site from one server to another, I am not going to use cpanel's transfer accounts feature, I have my reasons for that.
So I want to create the ftp and emails accounts that existed on old server on new server. Is that possible? If so how? Are there some files on server which stores the user/pass configurations which I can copy to new server and the ftp/email accounts will function without any action on my users's part?
Thanks in advance.

Hello :) There are no native transfer tools that will copy over email accounts and FTP accounts only, however we do have a guide for manual migrations that lists the paths you will need to copy: Manual migrations to cPanel from unsupported control panels Thank you. 0 -
Hello, Thanks for the reply, I checked the PDF, It explains where email passwords are stored, Any idea where the ftp passwords are stored? 0 -
FTP account information is stored in the following directory on a cPanel server: /etc/proftpd/ Thank you. 0 -
Hello, My server has Pure-FTPD and there is no /etc/prureftpd/ folder, any suggestions? Thanks. 0 -
The "/etc/proftpd/" directory exists whether you use Pure-FTPd or ProFTPd. The storage directory remains the same no matter which FTP server you choose to enable. Thank you. 0 -
Hello, This is my server : [LIST] - CENTOS 7.2 x86_64 virtuozzo
- WHM 54.0 (build 20) I created a ftp account, I logged into ftp with cpanel user/pass but I don't see "/etc/proftpd/" folder, Is it possible that the hosting company can change the location? Its a knownhost server. Thanks for your patience :)

Found them sorry, was looking in "etc" folder of cpanel user account instead of server's "etc" folder. 0
