unknown folder (.mozilla)

Hi, Do anybody has an idea for what the folder .mozilla are for? It's almost on every cpanel account. One of this Accounts was created on 2016-03-05 but the time-stamp for the folder ".mozilla" are "2014-03-05". The folder ".mozilla" contains some sub-folders too. One is called "extensions" and the other "plugin" without any content. Timestamp of these folders are "2010-08-18. Best Regards, emci

  Hello :) Do you have any Mozilla or Firefox packages installed on your system? EX:
  rpm -qa|grep mozilla rpm -qa|grep firefox

  Hi Michael I get this result when I try rpm -qa|grep mozilla:
  mozilla-filesystem-1.9-5.1.el6.x86_64
  I never noticed this package. Do you know for what that is used for? Thanks.

  It's not a package that's related to cPanel. Thus, it's likely it was manually installed via YUM or included in an image used when installing the operating system. It's discussed at: CentOS " View topic - Why is there a folder ./mozilla in non-GUI operating system? Thank you.
