mail.domain.com showing 404 error

Hello, I just created an account for a domain and I have created some email address for my account. But the problem is I am not able to browse the Webmail by "mail.mydomain.com", when I can browse that from "webmail.mydomain.com". when I try to browse from "mail.mydomain.com", I am getting an error of 404. What should i do to active this url. Note: I found "mail" in the MX entry.
