Making a cPanel account use specific PHP version

Not even sure if this is the right place to ask this, but it feels like a workaround. Short story long is after a few years of having a company manage my server I've taken it on myself as company just vanished. I use a fairly common couple of scripts. I'm running PHP 5.3 but there is one script that needs to use 5.5 - there was something the company used to do on an account level to make the account think it was running 5.5 .. and I don't know what. Any ideas? Thanks

  Hello :), Not sure which plugin they using for your account but now you can install MultiPHP on your server with the EasyApache 4, Please try to check following docs for EasyApache 4 setup. Introduction to EasyApache 4 - EasyApache 4 - cPanel Documentation

  Hello :) The ability to offer multiple versions of PHP is offered with EasyApache 4: Introduction to EasyApache 4 - EasyApache 4 - cPanel Documentation However, keep in mind that PHP 5.3 is end of life and unsupported in EasyApache 4. It's a good idea to consider updating scripts that require PHP 5.3 to ensure they are compatible with newer versions of PHP.
