Access webmail without URL port
Is there anyway I can access webmail without the port in the URL? Can I make a sub domain or something?
.
Ports like this are blocked on our network.
Anything like ?
(Found this thread but there isn't a resolution posted: How to map webmail.domain.com to webmail without any port?)

See if a URL like this woks for you: webmail.yourdomain.com 0 -
All my DNS is with DNS Made Easy. In order for webmail.domain.com to work, do I need to make a CNAME or A record pointing to the VPS IP with 'webmail'? Found proxy domains info here: Bypass firewalls with cPanel proxy subdomains - InMotion Hosting If my DNS isn't in the WHM/cPanel, what do I need to do with the DNS records in my DNS Made Easy account to get webmail, cpanel, and whm sub domains to work? The domain I currently access whm/cpanel is in this format: subdomain.domain.com so I'm not even sure I can make webmail.subdomain.domain.com or whm.subdomain.domain.com, cpanel.subdomain.domain.com. 0 -

I don't believe you can. You might refer to the docs at your DNS provider: help.dnsmadeeasy.com/view-tutorials/create-delegate-subdomain-managed-dns-domain/ Proxy subdomains are created with settings via WHM: Tweak Settings - Domains - 11.52 Documentation - cPanel Documentation Tweak Settings - Redirection - 11.52 Documentation - cPanel Documentation Proxy Subdomains Use the cPanel Service SSL - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation0 -
I know how to make subdomains. The issue with that WHM is installed as a subdomain and not at root domain, which makes all these instructions confusing. 0 -
You don't make a new subdomain for this, enabling the settings in WHM creates the proper proxy domains for all accounts for you. 0
