is it safe to enable gcc 4.7 by default on centos 6?

Hello :) This type of change is unsupported. While it may not cause any problems, it's not an environment that has extensive testing so it could lead to unforeseen issues. I suggest testing the upgrade on a non-production server first to ensure it does not result in any issues with cPanel. Or, you may want to consider updating/migrating to CentOS 7. Thank you.

A trial license is automatically issued, however please direct all license questions to our Customer Service department via the support ticket URL in my signature. Thank you.
