FTP credentials don't allow to write to file /.htaccess
Hello guys,
I'm always getting this when try to add something in Wordpress: FTP credentials don't allow to write to file /.htaccess
This is a general problem from cPanel or Apache. I tried a lot of way to fix but I couldn't. This problem is about permission denied, right? Please help me find a way to fix this.
Thanks!
I tried to Chmod files and folder but it still not working :(

Hello :) Is this a specific WordPress plugin you are using, or a specific option within the WordPress administrative interface? Are you accessing FTP as the cPanel account username or with a virtual FTP account that's limited to a specific directory? What are the permission and ownership values on the .htaccess file within the document root of the WordPress installation? Thank you. 0 -

Could you elaborate on this statement? Were you able to determine the answers to the questions from my previous response? Thank you.0
