Outgoing traffic over 3306

I'm trying to figure out can this be considered as security breach if outgoing traffic over 3306 is opened on firewall. Reason for this is remote mysql connections from origin (cpanel) server to 3rd party servers. Thank you for your comments and suggestions

  Hello :) You will need to allow some form of outbound traffic over the port if you want to allow your users to access MySQL on remote servers. You can limit outbound access to specific IP addresses easily through third-party applications such as CSF: ConfigServer Security & Firewall Thank you.
