SMTP Error 552 through Godaddy cPanel configuration
I set up shared hosting and e-mail accounts on Godaddy. About a week ago, some of our users are unable to send e-mails since the receive the 552 error back. At first, I found out that the user was using basic links to their website and social media profiles in their e-mail signature, which, upon removal, prevented the user from receiving the 552 bounceback.
If this user receives an e-mail from someone else that contains links in the SENDER's signature, the e-mail gets delivered but when the user replies back, they get the 552 bounceback.
This user has also setup a send/receive e-mail account on Outlook.com. After speaking with Godaddy support, they said this has to do with cPanel's spam filters so hence I'm posting this thread here. Log of the bounceback:

Hello :) Could you search for the message in /var/log/exim_mainlog and let us know the entry (without real domain names or IP addresses) for one of these messages? EX: exigrep user@affected-domain.tld /var/log/exim_mainlog
Thank you.0 -
Thanks for the tip, Michael. I'll have to admit I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to accessing the logs for e-mails. We are using shared hosting on Godaddy, so everything I do would be handled through the Godaddy cPanel interface. If there's a way to do this on that interface, I can definitely look into it. If you could just point in the right direction in terms of resources, I can dig into this and figure out how to execute that command. 0 -
For this its good to see the logs so it would require root access why don't you ask godaddy support to provide you with exim_logs as suggested by Michael, they will only be able to give you this logs as you are on shared hosting package. 0 -
Could you ask their support team to provide more details about the SPAM filter in question? Does the issue persist if you disable SpamAssassin from your account? Thank you. 0 -

Ok will try asking GoDaddy about the exim logs.0 -

Hi Michael, I double-checked the cPanel settings on the e-mail accounts and ensured that SpamAssassin is already disabled, so SA is not the culprit.0 -

Feel free to update this thread with the outcome once you receive a response. Thank you.0
