EA3 vs EA4 resource usage
i have a tiny VPS on cloud hosting option, and it's running CentOS6.7, WHM0.54, it's currently running EA3, and i'd like to upgrade to accommodate different versions of php on client domains, as the ones i'm bringing up now, come from a mixed php version environment.
the vps has limited processing / memory resources, it's upgrading in about a month or so, but until then, will EA4 put more pressure on the resources than EA3 does?
i see horror stories on this forum about upgrading.
should i panic yet?
or just carry on. :D
the ea3 profile i'm running is basic (apache2.4) plus mpm prefork & mod ruid2.
please be particularly verbose in your response.

Hello :) You can view a list of current issues with EasyApache 4 at: Current Status of EasyApache 4 - EasyApache 4 - cPanel Documentation This should help you to determine if any of the existing issues would prevent a smooth transition on your system. I've not seen any reports of increased load/memory usage when switching to EasyApache 4. The following document is also useful when making the decision to upgrade: Introduction to EasyApache 4 - EasyApache 4 - cPanel Documentation Thank you. 0
