Hello :) Do you still have access to the source server in order to generate valid backup archives of the accounts? Thank you.

Unfortunately i do not. our servers hdd went out in which we did not have access to the user accounts be retrieved other files. Had an old backup from about 5 months ago but found that all the folders were empty. So after that all the accounts are there but they have no home default files in them. So they are just empty folders

Unfortunately, re-creating the accounts is the only way to restore the required files if no additional backups are available. You could backup the existing data to another location, recreate the accounts, and then move that data back into place. There's a guide at the following URL that you may find helpful: How to Manually Migrate Accounts to cPanel from Unsupported Control Panels - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation It's intended for manual migrations from unsupported control panels, but it shows a list of paths associated with an account that may help. Thank you.
