Website Not Showing After Uploading to Server
Hello, I need help with uploading my website! I am using FTP and I used dreamweaver to transfer all my files to my Cpanel. (if that helps) I also, have an Index.html under public_html which I placed ALL my files under that. Every time I go to my website, I get this message "Future home of something quite cool. If you're the site owner, log in to launch this site If you are a visitor, check back soon.". What am I doing wrong? I've uploaded a image of my files under Public_html.

Hi Samer20, Create a test index.html file and tried to call it directly in browser. Ex:- example.com/index.html if the browser is showing test index.html file content then it may be an issue with codes in original index.html file.
My original Index.html works fine when I open it in the web browser. Also I am pretty sure that my Index.html is working fine because my website was already up, I just had to update a few things. Now the whole thing doesn't work :(0 -

Hello :) Please review the /home/$username/public_html/.htaccess file and verify if any entries are redirecting your pages. Does it make a difference if you use a lowercase "i" in the index.html filename? Thank you.0 -

Thank you for your reply. I do not understand what you are trying to imply, I'm new to this so your going to have to be more specific. I have all my website files under public_html including my index.html0 -
The "Redirects" option might be easier, as you can simply see if any redirects are configured for your domain name: Redirects - Documentation - cPanel Documentation If not, you may also need to report this issue to your web hosting provider so they can take a closer look and determine the reason this is happening. Thank you. 0
