Validation for transport FTP failed: Could not upload test file: Accepted data connection [back
I have configured backup to store it in remote ftp server but there was error while doing it.
Below is the log from /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log
As it says it was not able to upload the test file. I login to ftp server and checked. I found test file as below:
I think it is able to create test file and uploaded it successfully. I can also ftp from command itself. But I am not able to validate the configuration from whm. It keeps on showing "Error: Connection to the server timed out." where am I doing wrong? PS: I tried using passive mode. no luck. :(

Hello :), What error are you getting in backup log file ? Have you checked that ? 0 -
There is no error in backup for now. It runs smoothly. The problem is with remote backup server. local server is working fine. Backup will start in local, stores backup in /backup directory and transport backup in remote FTP server. 0 -
changed timeout to 300 and it's working. 0 -
