Exim send emails using server hostname instead of user@theirdomainname.com

    They are most likely sending using PHP, I would make the suggestion to them to switch to using SMTP Authentication, you will have less chance of being marked as spam as well using SMTP auth.

    Sorry, I have to clarify. Mail is not send thru PHP, Mail client / IMAP / WebMail only.

    Thanks Jcat, Now I know what you mean, webmail is PHP :) Was a little bit tired after debugging a whole day. Can you point me in the right direction as to where you can force SMTP Auth for webmail? Have looked everywhere Horde / cPanel / WHM but could not find it. Thanks again!

    Hello :) Email should not send from username@hostname when sending via Webmail. Are you sure the users are signed in with the actual email account username, and not the username of the cPanel account? Thank you.
